When can we break down our booth?
PDN PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo 2008 closes on Saturday, October 25th at 4:00pm. As stated in your contract you are not allowed to break down your booth until this time. Show Management will stop you if you attempt to do so and it could effect your participation in next year's event.

What is the Marshalling Yard and why do I have to go there?
The Marshalling Yard is a staging area for all vehicle deliveries that need to drop off shipments on the loading dock. The yard is located on 33rd Street between 11th and 12th Avenues. If your shipment does not adhere to hand carry regulations it must be unloaded off the dock and so you must check in at the Marshalling Yard before visiting the loading dock.

Can I use my own dolly/hand truck and move my stuff in to my booth?
You are allowed to move in your own exhibit material as long as it is "hand-carry" items only. "Hand-carry" is exactly what it says: Any items that you do not need wheeled carts of any kind to move. You will have 20 minutes to unload your vehicle in the designated area and must have someone with the vehicle at all times. If you do not meet these requirements you will need to contact Freeman for more information.

Can I set up my own booth?
You may setup your own booth if it is a 10x10 (100sq. ft) or less and you can meet the following requirements:

When will I receive my Exhibitor Service Kit, and what does it include?
In Mid-July an e-mail will be sent out to all our exhibitor contacts with a link to the electronic version of the Exhibitor Service Kit. Exhibitors should take a few minutes to read through their Service Kit and note important deadlines. In many cases, these deadlines could help exhibitors save on their expenses!

How do I find out if my booth meets all regulations?
Exhibitors should first check the IAEM booth set-up guidelines located in the Union Work Rules/Fire Regulations/Guidelines section of the online service kit. For booths that are over 400 square feet, or that are peninsula or end cap booths, they must complete a booth approval form (located in the General Information Tab) and submit the required drawings to show management. If you still have questions, please call the Exhibitor Hotline at 703.488.2944 between 8:30am - 5:00pm EST.

MISCELLANEOUS

What is a show guide listing, and how do I make sure my company is listed properly?
The show guide is a comprehensive, magazine style, information guide to PDN PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo 2008, and will be provided to all attendees and exhibitors. This guide will include information about your company including a short company description, three product categories, where you can be located on the show floor, and post show contact information. Check back in August for the link to update your company listing.

How many exhibitor badges do I get for my company?
You get an unlimited number of exhibitor booth personnel badges for your booth. All exhibitor booth personnel working the booth (including set up and tear down), need to have a badge. Exhibitor registration will open at the beginning of July - please check back then.

How do I invite my clients to attend the expo for free?
We've added some tools on the registration page so you can immediately invite your customers to the show! This option also allows you to continually check, on the registration page, which customers have used your company's exclusive Free Expo Pass promotion code to register.

Don't forget to use this exclusive Free Expo Pass code, on the exhibitor registration page, to invite your customers to the show. From this page, you can even track which customers have used the code you gave them to register.

How do I get an attendee list?
Exhibitors can request a complimentary pre-show attendee list by filling out the form in the exhibitor service kit by the deadline. Post-show attendee lists can be purchased up to 30 days post show. Please note the pre- and post-show attendees lists do not include phone numbers, fax numbers or e-mail addresses due to recently enacted Federal communications laws. Lists will include attendees and mailing addresses only.

How do I upgrade my booth space?
Contact your sales representative Melissa Kittson at 703-488-2742 or Melissa.kittson@nielsen.com.

How do I get a pre-show media list?
All exhibitors will automatically receive the pre-registered media list via e-mail approximately 6 weeks prior to the show. We strongly encourage exhibitors to contact the media prior to the show to inform them about new product introductions, special events, etc. If you have any questions, please contact the PR firm: Brainerd Communicators at douglass@braincomm.com.

Where do I drop off my press kits onsite?
There will be a Press Room at PDN PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo 20087 where members of the press are qualified and given a badge and event information. Exhibitors are invited to bring press releases and press kits to the onsite press room. For PDN PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo 2008, we recommend shipping about 50 press kits to your booth: then deliver 25-30 to the press room and keep the remaining kits at your booth. We do not recommend shipping press material directly to the press room, as you will incur additional fees. Questions about the press room may be directed to the PR firm: Brainerd Communicators at douglass@braincomm.com.
