How do I get an International Visa letter of invitation?
Once you are registered and paid in full, send an e-mail requesting an International Visa letter of invitation to photoplus@nielsen.com. A letter of invitation will be sent within five business days. Please note that if your visa request is denied by your country, you will receive a full refund for your registration fees.

When will I receive my badge?
Badges will be mailed out towards the end of September, if registered by September 26, 2007. If you do not receive your badge in the mail, please go to the express badge pick-up counters in the Javits Convention Center during registration hours
How do get an invoice?
Send an e-mail to photoplus@nielsen.com to request an invoice. Please include your company name and address, name of attendees, and what they would like to attend. Invoices will be e-mailed or mailed within five business days. All registrations must be paid in full prior to the conference. Please allow adequate time to get your invoice processed.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. Please send your purchase orders to photoplus@nielsen.com or fax 703-488-2800. Once we receive your purchase order, we will send you an invoice within five business days. All registrations must be paid in full prior to the conference. Please allow adequate time to get your invoice processed.
How do I get a W-9 form?

Do I need to get a ticket to attend the sessions?
You do not need tickets to attend the conference sessions, but you will need your Conference Pass to enter the sessions. When you receive your badge, there will be a Conference Pass below your badge that will list all of the sessions you have purchased, and you will need to show this at the door to enter the session. If you add sessions to your registration, please make sure all sessions are listed on your Conference Pass. If you purchase sessions after your badge is mailed, you will need to pick up a new badge and Conference Pass at the advanced attendee registration counters at the Javits Convention Center during registration hours.
Do I need a ticket to attend General Sessions or Special Evening Sessions?
No tickets are needed for the General Sessions or Special Evening Sessions. These events are open to all Gold Expo Pass holders and Conference attendees. You will not receive a ticket for these events, nor will they be listed on your Conference Pass. Priority admittance will only be given to Gold Expo Pass holders and Conference attendees, which will be indicated by their badge holder color.
MISCELLANEOUS
Will there be shuttles to/from the convention center and the hotels?
Shuttle service will be provided to and from the Jacob Javits Convention Center, Penn Station and the hotels in our block. Click here for the complete shuttle schedule.
Are children allowed on the show floor?
No one under the age of 18 will be allowed on the show floor during set-up and tear-down. Children under the age of 18 will be allowed on the show floor with adult supervision during the show hours. Please stop by registration onsite to sign a child waiver form and pick up a child badge. Absolutely no strollers will be allowed on the show floor at any time. This is for safety reasons.
Are wheeled carts and/or bags allowed on the show floor?
For the safety of our attendees and exhibitors, no wheeled carts, wheeled bags or strollers will be allowed on the show floor. Please utilize coat deck area on level 2

Are wheelchairs or motorized scooters available?
Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first serve basis. Simply visit the Javits Concierge Desk to sign a wheelchair out. If you need a motorized scooter, you can reserve one by calling 212-216-2222 and making a reservation with a Javits preferred vendor.

The hours above indicate the times which exhibitors have access to the exhibit hall. Exhibitors are permitted to work after 4:30p.m. each night on an exit only basis until 7:00p.m. This means once you exit the exhibit hall, you will not be permitted re-admittance without prior approval of Show Management. No one under 18 years of age will be permitted onto the exhibit floor during move-in and move-out.

When can we break down our booth?
PDN PhotoPlus International 2007 closes on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 4:00pm. As stated in your contract you are not allowed to break down your booth until this time. You will be stopped by Show Management if you attempt to do so and it could effect your participation in next year’s event.
What is the Marshalling Yard and why do I have to go there?
The Marshalling Yard is a staging area for all vehicle deliveries that need to drop off shipments on the loading dock. The yard is located on 33rd Street between 11th and 12th Avenues. If your shipment does not adhere to hand carry regulations it must be unloaded off the dock and so you must check in at the Marshalling Yard before visiting the loading dock.
Can I use my own dolly/hand truck and move my stuff in to my booth?
You are allowed to move in your own exhibit material as long as it is "hand-carry" items only. "Hand-carry" is exactly what it says: Any items that you do not need wheeled carts of any kind to move. You will have 20 minutes to unload your vehicle in the designated area and must have someone with the vehicle at all times. If you do not meet these requirements you will need to contact Freeman at 201.246.2160 for more information.
Can I set up my own booth?
You may setup your own booth if it is a 10x10 (100sq. ft) or less and you can meet the following requirements:
1) Set-up can be reasonably accomplished in 1/2 hour or less;
2) No tools are used in the assembly or dismantle;
3) Individuals performing the work must be full time employees of exhibiting company.
How do I find out my booth number and/or where I am located on the show floor?

How do I order items for my booth (i.e. carpet, electrical, furniture)?
Refer to your service kit for order forms, or click here to go to the Exhibitor Service Center and download the necessary forms. If you have any questions about filling out the forms, please call the Exhibitor Hotline at 703.488.2944 between 8:30am – 5:00pm EST.
When will I receive my Exhibitor Service Kit, and what does it include? –
In Mid-July an e-mail will be sent out to all our exhibitor contacts with a link to the electronic version of the Exhibitor Service Kit. This website will include everything you need, including direct links to online ordering sites and electronic versions of forms and flyers. If you have not received your e-mail by the end of July please call the exhibitor hotline at 703.488.2944 between 8:30am – 5:00pm EST.
The Exhibitor Service Kit includes important information on Registration, Hotel & Travel Accommodations, Promotional & Sponsorship Opportunities, Service Contractors, and information on Shipping, Booth Furnishings, and Labor. Exhibitors should take a few minutes to read through their Service Kit and note important deadlines. In many cases, these deadlines could help exhibitors save on their expenses!
How do I find out if my booth meets all regulations?
Exhibitors should first check the IAEM booth set-up guidelines located in the Union Work Rules/Fire Regulations/Guidelines section of the online service kit. For booths that are over 400 square feet, or that are peninsula or end cap booths, they must complete a booth approval form (located in the General Information Tab) and submit the required drawings to show management. What does my insurance certificate need as additional insured?
PDN PhotoPlus International 2007, Jacob K Javits Convention Center, Photo District News Magazine, Freeman Decorating and Nielsen Business Media, State of New York, New York Convention Operating Corp, NY C.C Development Corp, Empire State Development Corp,Triborough Bridge & Tunnel Authority. It also must include all of the show dates (October, 14 - October 21, 2007).
MISCELLANEOUS
What is a show guide listing, and how do I make sure my company is listed properly?
The show guide is a comprehensive, magazine style, information guide to PDN PhotoPlus International 2007, and will be provided to all attendees and exhibitors. This guide will include information about your company including a short company description, three product categories, where you can be located on the show floor, and post show contact information. Click here by July 20, 2007 to update your company information to ensure that all of your correct information will be listed in the show guide.
How many exhibitor badges do I get for my company?
You get an unlimited number of exhibitor booth personnel badges for your booth. All exhibitor booth personnel working the booth (including set up and tear down), need to have a badge.

How do I get free expo passes for my clients?
All exhibitors will automatically receive an allotment of personalized free expo passes; additional passes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Passes will be mailed to all exhibitors who have signed up at least 16 weeks prior to the show; again at 12 weeks; and a final mailing 8 weeks prior. A form to request more passes can be found in the Exhibitor Service Kit; online in the Exhibitor Service Center or in the original package of passes. You can also request a .PDF of the free pass which can be e-mailed to your clients. Exhibitors are strongly encouraged to use these passes to invite their best clients to visit them at the show... for FREE! How do I get an attendee list?
Exhibitors can request a complimentary pre-show attendee list by filling out the form in the exhibitor service kit by September 14, 2007. Post-show attendee lists can be purchased up to 30 days post show. Please note the pre- and post-show attendees lists do not include phone numbers, fax numbers or e-mail addresses due to recently enacted Federal communications laws. Lists will include attendees and mailing addresses only.
How do I upgrade my booth space?

How do I get a pre-show media list?
All exhibitors will automatically receive the pre-registered media list via e-mail approximately 6 weeks prior to the show. Where do I drop off my press kits onsite?
There will be a Press Room at PDN PhotoPlus International 2007 where members of the press are qualified and given a badge and event information. Exhibitors are invited to bring press releases and press kits to the onsite press room. For PDN PhotoPlus International 2007, we recommend shipping about 50 press kits to your booth: then deliver 25-30 to the press room and keep the remaining kits at your booth. We do not recommend shipping press material directly to the press room(4B TERRACE), as you will incur additional fees. PRESS QUESTIONS
Who may receive complimentary press credentials?
To be registered as a member of the press, you must provide proper editorial credentials indicating employment by an established news outlet. A copy of your business card must accompany your registration form. Freelancers must include two samples of industry-related bylined articles or reports published within the last six months.
The following are eligible for press credentials: trade and business publications; newspaper and wire reporters; broadcast TV and radio reporters; freelance writers, reporters and authors currently under contract; analysts.
PLEASE NOTE: Sales and marketing representatives are not considered members of the working press and need to register using the standing online registration form. Authors and/or book publishers in the process of researching future books on the imaging industry are not eligible for press credentials. We cannot issue press credentials to editorial photographers; photographers covering PDN PhotoPlus International 2007 are eligible and must submit original letter of assignment or a copy of contract from editor-in-chief.
How do I register?
Press may register online at www.photoplusexpo.com, by choosing “Press” from the menu bar and following the links to press registration.
How will I know my registration has been approved?
You will receive a confirmation e-mail or fax following your approval.
When will I receive my press badge?
