The PDN PhotoPlus International Conference and Expo is an annual photography event for professionals, students, educators and advanced amateurs interested in the photography and digital imaging industries such as commercial, editorial, wedding, portrait and art photography, among others. The PhotoPlus photography conference includes photography courses, seminars, lectures and workshops taught by some of the world’s finest photography speakers and artists on subjects such as lighting and posing, wedding photography, business and marketing, social media, software and workflow, and video and multimedia.

Photography workshops at PhotoPlus Expo provide an opportunity to devote committed hours or days on building your photographic skills. Whether you are looking for photo shoot tips to improve your technique, editing or printing, or simply gain a competitive edge for your business, attending a photography course, seminar, lecture or workshop may be best investment you can make in yourself. Many of the photography conferences held during PhotoPlus Expo provide some of the best forums for exploring photographic concepts and techniques, and can keep you up to date on relevant trends in the industry. These photography courses and workshops are typically lead by some of the world’s finest commercial, editorial, portrait or wedding and fine art photographers, who experts in their field, such as Doug Gordon, Bambi Cantrell, Jerry Ghionis, Jasmine Star and many others.

Typically, the PhotoPlus photography conference features up to eleven educational tracks and each track may include up to nine classes. Classes within the tracks are held over a three days, which allows for attendees to select from nearly 100 classes based on their areas of interest and level of experience; basic, intermediate or advanced. Even more, attendees may purchase passes in a variety of ways that suit their schedule or budget. For instance, they may purchase individual passes for al a carte photography classes, a single full day pass or a pass for all three days.

In addition, many exhibitors host demonstrations and photography presentations in their booths during the trade show including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Epson and Adobe and many others.

The PhotoPlus Conference and Expo is held each October at the Javits Convention Center in New York City and regularly attracts over 250 exhibitors and nearly 22,000 attendees.
