PhotoPlus will provide a Visa letter for attendees upon request.
A Visa letter will automatically be generated once you register for the PhotoPlus. During the registration process you will be promoted to provide your full contact information and country of origin’s information. Please fill out the registration form accurately. Your registration contact information must match exactly with the contact information and information that appears on your passport. Once you have completed your registration you will receive a confirmation email with a link where you will be able to print your personalized invitation letter. The entire process is very easy and fast. Please note that an invitation letter is not a decisive in determining whether to not the Visa will be issued.

Yes, please visit the “Register Here” attendee registration counters at the Javits Convention Center during registration hours. Please note that registration fees are higher onsite.
Each year nearly 20,000 people from around the world register to attend the PDN PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo. Our goal is to ensure the safety and satisfaction of each attendee during the event. Therefore, we request all our participants to adhere to our show policies. View the show policy.
Yes. PhotoPlus has always been in support of introducing our youth to photography. Both students and educators will receive 50% discount off the registration rates. In order to receive the discount, please provide the following credentials:
Students – Copies of two of the following must be received for approval:
- Current student ID
- Current class schedule
- Proof of payment for current classes
Educators – Copies of the following must be received for approval:
- Current educator ID
- Current pay stub from educational institution
Credentials can be uploaded on the registration site for advance approval.

Yes. Upon completion of your online registration, a confirmation email will be automatically be sent to you which includes all show items purchased and seminar selections. If you require another copy, please send an email request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All attendees must be individually registered; there is no guest registration.
You do not need a ticket, but you must present your PhotoPlus badge. Admission is complimentary for all registered attendees.
Admission to all three keynote presentations is included with purchase of any seminar pass and/or with VIP Expo Pass. You do not need a ticket, but you must present your PhotoPlus badge which reflects your registration status.You may also purchase a la carte tickets to keynotes.
- Any cancellation of any Conference seminar or Pass is subject to a USD $25 processing fee.
- Refunds are not permitted for any registration made after October 14, 2016.
- Refunds are not permitted for Expo Passes, VIP Expo Passes, or any Special Event tickets.
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to: email@example.com.
- After October 14, 2016, substitutions will be allowed in the event that the registrant is unable to attend, but no refunds will be issued. The substitute must bring the registrant’s confirmation letter to the Will Call Counter in the registration area of the Javits Convention Center to receive a badge for admission. No Young Adult passes may be substituted.

Yes, cameras are allowed. However, no photographs are permitted of exhibit displays unless you have the exhibitor’s permission.
The PDN PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo is a professional trade event. To maintain this credo, we ask our participants to please adhere to the following:
- – Children under the age of 16, including infants, are not permitted in any conference seminar at any time.
- – Children under the age of 16 will be permitted in the expo, provided they have adult supervision at all times. No more than two children per adult; proof of age may be required.
- – Strollers are permitted on the expo show floor, but are not recommended.
For the safety of all attendees, no rolling carts, no rolling brief cases, and no rolling bags are permitted on the show floor during expo hours, except in the case of medical necessity.
Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first serve basis. Simply visit the Javits Concierge Desk to sign a wheelchair out. If you need a motorized scooter, you can reserve one by calling 212-216-2222 and making a reservation with a Javits preferred vendor.
The conference is business casual. Temperatures can vary within the convention center. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing.

Show Guide and Listing
Our official show guide, the “PhotoPlus Expo Show Guide”, is a comprehensive, magazine style, information guide to PhotoPlus Expo, provided free to all attendees and exhibitors. This publication includes industry news, gear reviews, and a listing of all exhibitors by company name, booth number, website URL, and product categories.
The PhotoPlus Expo will feature over 100 seminars, including Photo Walks, Intensives, Master Classes, and Keynotes from over 130 renowned speakers. View the Seminar Schedule online for listing of all seminars offered by date, track, speaker, or sponsor.

You do not need a ticket, but you must purchase a Conference Pass with your registration order. When you pick-up your badge onsite, there will be a Conference Pass next to your badge with a list all of the seminars you selected. Please show your Conference Pass upon entering each seminar room.
You do not need a ticket, but you must present your PhotoPlus Badge upon entering a Keynote presentation. Admission to all three keynote presentations is included with purchase of any seminar pass and /or VIP Expo Pass upgrade.
We will not be providing paper handouts this year. All speaker materials will be emailed to each attendee if the speaker has handout materials the week prior to the conference. For attendees who sign up on-site, an email will be sent with the speaker’s materials after the conference.
The Emerging & Professional Portfolio Review at PhotoPlus Expo allows emerging and established professional photographers to present their work to key, hard-to-meet influencers that can give them jobs, exhibit or publish their work and advance their career. You will receive a confirmation e-mail following acceptance of your press credentials.
Any exhibitor can request a pre-registered media list via e-mail approximately six weeks prior to the show. Please request the list by sending an e-mail to ScottHeath@pr-synergy.com. We strongly encourage exhibitors to contact the media prior to the show to inform them about new product introductions, special events, etc.
There will be a Press Room at PhotoPlus where qualified members of the press are given a badge and event information. Exhibitors are invited to bring press releases and press kits to the onsite press room. Our press room is paperless! No paper of any kind will be accepted. All material must be on digital media. We recommend shipping about 50 press kits to your booth: then deliver 25-30 to the press room and keep the remaining kits at your booth. We do not recommend shipping press material directly to the press room, as you will incur additional fees. Questions about the press room may be directed to our PR firm: Synergy Communications.
To be registered as a member of the press, you must provide proper editorial credentials indicating employment by an established news outlet. A copy of your business card must accompany your registration form. Freelancers must include two samples of industry-related bylined articles or reports published within the last six months.
The following are eligible for press credentials: trade and business publications; newspaper and wire reporters; broadcast TV and radio reporters; freelance writers, reporters and authors currently under contract; analysts.
PLEASE NOTE: Sales and marketing representatives are not considered members of the working press and need to register using the Attendee registration form. Authors and/or book publishers in the process of researching future books on the imaging industry are not eligible for press credentials. We cannot issue press credentials to editorial photographers; photographers covering the 2016 PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo are eligible and must submit original letter of assignment or a copy of contract from editor-in-chief.
Badges for press will not be mailed in advance. Badge and badge holder must be picked up in the Press Room on the 4B Terrace at the Javits Convention Center, 655 W. 34th Street at 11th Avenue, New York, NY. Please bring a copy of your registration confirmation email as well your business card to the Press Room.
